Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workforce Management Specialist to oversee and optimize workforce operations across our clinics. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring efficient staff utilization, maintaining optimal patient flow, and achieving organizational objectives. This role demands expertise in scheduling, forecasting, and resource allocation, combined with a strategic mindset to adapt to dynamic healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Workforce Planning and Forecasting:
    • Analyze historical data and trends to forecast staffing needs for clinics.
    • Collaborate with clinical leadership to anticipate changes in patient demand and adjust staffing plans accordingly.
  2. Scheduling and Resource Allocation:
    • Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage while minimizing overtime and labor costs.
    • Coordinate with clinical teams to address last-minute scheduling changes or staffing shortages.
    • Implement technology solutions to automate and optimize scheduling processes.
  3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Track and report key workforce metrics, including productivity, utilization rates, and patient throughput.
    • Identify and address performance gaps through actionable insights and recommendations.
    • Prepare regular reports for leadership, highlighting trends and opportunities for improvement.
  4. Operational Efficiency:
    • Streamline workforce management processes to reduce inefficiencies and enhance staff satisfaction.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to align workforce strategies with organizational goals.
    • Drive initiatives to improve patient conversion and reduce time-to-procedure metrics.
  5. Recruitment and Onboarding Support:
    • Partner with the recruiting team to address staffing shortages and build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
    • Assist in onboarding new hires, ensuring smooth integration into clinic operations.
  6. Technology and Tools Management:
    • Evaluate and implement workforce management software to enhance operational capabilities.
    • Train staff and managers on workforce tools and best practices.
  7. Patient Engagement Alignment:
    • Support strategies to improve patient scheduling and reduce no-show rates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in workforce management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in workforce management tools and scheduling software.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and healthcare industry regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pay Range: $26.00-$33.00 per hour

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with clinical operations or patient flow optimization.
  • Certification in workforce management or related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with patient engagement strategies and tools.
