Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and engaging conversation
• Prepare meals based on dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and tidying up
• Administer medication reminders and monitor changes in clients’ conditions
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid Illinois driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Negative TB test and/or health screening as required by Illinois regulations
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Prior caregiving experience (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics
• Physical endurance
• High school diploma or equivalent
