AWS Cloud Engineer with Java

ARFA Solutions, LLC is hiring an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with Java knowledge to join our team. As an AWS Cloud Engineer with Java, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure on AWS using Java-based technologies. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure the scalability, security, and high performance of our cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AWS infrastructure solutions using Java-based technologies.
• Deploy and manage cloud-based resources using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
• Create and maintain Java-based microservices and applications for cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Java-based tools and frameworks.
• Configure and optimize AWS services to ensure high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance and scalability issues.
• Implement and maintain security and compliance measures, following best practices and industry standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, Java technologies, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience working as an AWS Cloud Engineer with Java expertise.
• Strong understanding of AWS services and their use cases, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in Java programming language and Java-based frameworks.
• Experience with networking concepts in AWS, such as VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, and Route Tables.
• Experience with Java-based microservices development and deployment.
• Hands-on experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
