Audit Manager

Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join their team for a government audit position. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing audit engagements and ensuring compliance with government regulations and internal controls. You will work closely with a team of auditors to assess financial statements, evaluate internal processes, identify areas of risk, and make recommendations for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute audit engagements for government entities
• Review financial statements and evaluate internal controls
• Identify areas of risk and make recommendations for improvement
• Supervise and mentor audit staff
• Maintain effective client relationships and ensure client satisfaction
• Stay up-to-date with government regulations and auditing standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably in a government audit setting/public accounting
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Strong knowledge of government accounting principles and regulations
• Experience with auditing software and tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking
