Audit Manager - Government Clients

Hire Resolve's client, a CPA firm, is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join their team. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing audit engagements for government clients. You will collaborate with a team of auditors to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, evaluate internal controls, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and conduct audits of government agencies and programs
• Review and assess financial statements, compliance with laws and regulations, and internal controls
• Identify risks and areas of non-compliance, and recommend remedial actions
• Manage and mentor a team of auditors
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably with government clients
• Strong knowledge of government accounting and auditing standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
