We are looking for a creative, socially native, super online Associate Content Strategist to join our Social Content & Community team. The ideal candidate possesses a robust understanding of all social platforms and has a keen eye for detail. The candidate should be dialed into internet culture (memes, trends, niche TikTok communities, etc.) and constantly curious about the future of the social industry.

Roles + Responsibilities:

  • Assists with social content planning, concepting, and execution (i.e. posting/scheduling)
  • Supports the Senior Content Strategist in managing the Social Content Calendar
  • Publish daily social content across all social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
  • Community Management including monitoring the conversation, identifying opportunities for interaction, and writing/publishing replies
  • Identify opportunities for surprise & delight community moments
  • Write replies that achieve client goals and build community
  • Manage large user lists within custom dashboards for tracking
  • Track a list of potential creators or community advocates
  • Support team in collating reports about the community
  • Write and contribute to editorial client-facing deliverables including content ideas and creator briefs
  • Contribute to quarterly content analysis with actionable community insights
  • Assist with research, including competitor audit, influencer identification, and collecting community insights
  • Remaining up-to-date on industry technology and social platform news and updates
  • Copywriting on social posts
  • Participation in brainstorms & creative ideation 
  • Communicate and collaborate with clients

Requirements

  • 1+ years of professional social media experience in an agency or brand side capacity
  • Must be based in the Mid-West (Chicago, Detroit, or Minneapolis) 
  • Knowledge of social media trends and platform functionalities 
  • Strong social writing skills 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Client-facing presentation skills
  • Ability to interpret quantitative and quantitative analysis
  • Experience with Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Sheets
  • Proficiency in Photoshop/InDesign, Canva, CapCut or Adobe Express is a plus
  • Preferable experience with social media publishing programs (i.e. Sprinklr, Hootsuite, SproutSocial)
  • Comfort with social video capture and editing
