The right candidate is joining the business early, with the opportunity to earn valuable experience and quickly develop their career.  This role will be responsible for the midwest territory and should be based in the Chicago area.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly volume and distribution targets, driving overall sales growth in your market.
  • Take ownership of regional chain retailers, implementing promotion calendars, introducing new items, and marketing programs.
  • Meet key financial and sales objectives, leveraging data-driven strategies to boost performance.
  • Strategically plan and prioritize your weekly activities in the field, ensuring timely visits to target accounts to address voids, enhance shelf visibility, and secure reorders from store managers.
  • Oversee flawless execution of new product launches, promotions, and secondary placements.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with store-level buyers to strengthen partnerships.
  • Secure additional product placements within accounts, including secondary points of purchase and cooler spaces.
  • Ensure effective implementation of Retail programs in the marketplace.
  • Maintain daily communication with your manager. Participate in weekly calls with your manager, attend monthly team meetings, and provide comprehensive monthly recaps. Share market-level insights, including customer and consumer feedback, competitive activities, and market successes as needed.
  • Support partnerships with distributors, brokers, and retailers in your market.
  • Dedicate approximately 80% of your time to field visits, engaging with various accounts.

  • 1-3 years of Sales or Marketing experience with a CPG brand preferably in the F&B industry.
  • Experience working with distributors and selling through Retail, On-Premise and Food Service channels.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools, data-driven approach to sales.
  • Competitive, self-starter who is highly motivated to achieve goals.
  • Possessing strong planning, organization, and project management abilities, coupled with exceptional interpersonal, written/oral communication, and presentation skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Displaying an inquisitive nature to understand our customers, driven to find innovative ways to better connect with consumers.
  • Must have a clean driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
  • Physically capable of lifting 20 lbs., setting up, executing, and tearing down promotional items. The role entails regular standing, kneeling, and walking distances of up to ½ mile at a time.
  • Must live in the Texas market with the ability to travel between Dallas, Austin and Houston regularly.

Benefits

The salary range for this role is $70k - $90k with a bonus
