CG Life is looking for an enthusiastic, self-starting Business Development Coordinator to join our Growth team and help to accelerate our sales pipeline and related agency growth initiatives.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys using both their creative and analytical skills to help our agency market itself and manage our new business activities. Key responsibilities include managing our new business pipeline from prospects to new clients, supporting our Growth team on new business pitches, and partnering with our Marketing Manager to ensure consistency in messaging across all organic and inorganic sales touchpoints. We need a proactive, positive person who is highly motivated, organized and likes collaborating with others.
Key responsibilities, including but not limited to:
As our Business Development Coordinator, you’ll help organize our new business and agency marketing efforts, working with a team to secure profitable new business for the agency by:
- Researching innovative life science brands. Helping our integrated team learn their offering, competitive landscape and more insights to support our strategic approach.
- Consolidating and reporting agency marketing and sales analytics.
- Keeping our new business activities on track, from prospect follow-up, pitch scheduling, proposal development, and Salesforce (CRM) management.
- Orchestrating timelines and project parameters and sharing with a diverse team.
- Ensuring deadlines are met with efficiency.
- Identifying prospect lists and contacts at key target organizations we wish to engage.
- Supporting the development of prospect presentations and proposals.
- Establishing sound working relationships with an integrated team, including strategy, PR, social media, digital marketing, creative, content, project management, and account management.
- Remaining flexible and accessible to prospects; responding to requests in a quick and timely manner. Drafting timely meeting notes and tracking the next steps.
- Continually increasing your knowledge of the life science and biopharma industries, understanding target audiences, business model, trends, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What we will be looking for:
- 1-3 years of sales and marketing experience (agency preferred) and genuine interest in life science and biopharma.
- Experience in management of Salesforce, LinkedIn, and Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint).
- Experience with HubSpot is a plus.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, over both phone and email, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to think strategically and understand clients’ business and marketing goals.
- Ability to learn our full capabilities suite of services and articulate the benefits and outcomes of each thoughtfully to prospective clients.
- Ability to coordinate processes between internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with senior leaders at our organization and at prospective client organizations.

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $58,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure, and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
