We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join our team and ensure the efficiency and accuracy of our financial operations.
- Managing Accounts Payable: Utilize accounting software and other programs to manage accounts payable processes.
- Bill Verification: Ensure the authenticity of bills and verify the receipt of goods/services.
- Vendor Management: Handle accounts payable for separate entities and vendors, establishing and maintaining relationships with both new and existing vendors.
- Workflow Analysis: Analyze workflow processes to enhance efficiency.
- Timely Payments: Ensure bills and payroll are paid promptly and accurately while adhering to departmental procedures.
- Invoice Processing: Process due invoices for payments, comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges.
- Accounting Duties: Perform transactions and accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling books of accounts.
Additional Accounting Functions:
- Financial Statements Review: Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare and file tax returns.
- Data Entry: Enter accounting-related information into business logs.
- Account Book Inspection: Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy.
- Financial Record Management: Organize and update financial records.
- Cost Reduction & Revenue Enhancement: Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.
- Bank Settlements: Perform monthly bank settlements.
- Audit Preparation: Prepare documentation for external auditors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounts payable management.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors and colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
