Account Coordinator Internship

Wow Bao is hiring an Account Coordinator Intern this summer 2024 at our office in Chicago!  In addition to our brick-and-mortar stores in Chicago, we have created a dark kitchen program and launched over 750 locations coast-to-coast since March 2020, with a pipeline of 100+ locations to be launched in the coming months. 

The internship will generally run through August. Students are responsible for their own housing and transportation.

What we are looking for!

• Full-time availability 30 to 40 hours a week
• Highly detailed and organized
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus
• Familiarity with third party delivery (Uber Eats, DoorDash, GrubHub) services (as a customer or generally).

POSITION SUMMARY

The Account Coordinator Intern will support the customer relationships that promote retention and loyalty for the Dark Kitchen program.  As an Account Coordinator Intern, you will work directly with our Dark Kitchen Account Managers to ensure successful onboarding of new accounts and ongoing quality assurance audits. 

 This is a unique opportunity for undergraduate students interested in gaining valuable fast-casual restaurant account management experience in a fun and fast paced environment.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:(Other duties may be assigned as needed):

• Support Account Managers with new account onboarding and customer success processes
• Follow established processes to:

• Conduct quality assurance and performance audits for assigned accounts

• Complete action steps to address QA and audit issues

• Communicate with 3rd Party Delivery Providers as needed
• Work closely with the Account Managers to address specific Dark Kitchen account needs
• Complete all reporting tasks delegated by the Account Management team on time and with high accuracy
• Support Dark Kitchen team with overall administration and other aspects of the Dark Kitchen operating accounts
• Maintain and update records in Salesforce
• Multitask calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Follow all rules, policies, and procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook
• Other tasks and projects assigned as needed

Required Experience/Skills:

• Experience in a coordinator or similar relevant position required
• Very detail oriented and highly organized, able to follow detailed standards and processes
• Self-motivated with keen sense of urgency
• Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency of the English language for professional
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong ownership of issue resolution
• Adaptable to change and flexible
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and leverage new technologies and tools
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Partake in a professional and positive work environment
• Salesforce or CRM experience strongly preferred

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
