Physical Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our brand-new Acute Rehab Unit in Lewiston, ID. This position offers a competitive salary based on experience, ranging from $77K to $116K, along with a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a relocation package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Under the general direction of and upon physician referral, assess the functional needs of physically disabled patients.
• Develop treatment goals, plan, and implement appropriate treatment plans utilizing a variety of physical therapy procedures.
• Objectively and quantifiably assess a baseline level of physical function for each patient referred, including baseline assessment of medical and onset history, cognitive function, sensory-perceptual-motor function, functional mobility, and pain control.
• Identify functional needs and establish appropriate treatment outcome goals based on the initial assessment of the patient. Goals must be measurable, realistic, and appropriate to the patient's condition.
• Plan and implement dynamic treatment programs designed to achieve or significantly progress toward achievement of outcome goals, ensuring consistency and continuity to enhance patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served, understanding the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and providing care with consideration of developmental status.

Must-Haves:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Graduate from a physical therapy curriculum approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy
• Licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Idaho

Nice-to-Haves:

• Master’s degree is preferred

Work Conditions/Hours:

• Schedule will be either Tuesday-Saturday (five 8-hour shifts) or Wednesday-Saturday (four 10-hour shifts).
