Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Relocation Package: Available

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapists to join our team in Lewiston, ID. This role requires travel up to 100% of the time and offers a competitive salary based on experience, with a range of $80K to $115K. Additionally, a $15,000 sign-on bonus and relocation package are available.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work under the general direction of a physician and upon referral, assess the functional needs of physically disabled patients, develop treatment goals, and plan and implement appropriate treatment plans utilizing a variety of occupational therapy procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct objective and quantifiable assessments of patients' baseline self-care function, including medical history, cognitive function, sensory-perceptual-motor function, and activities of daily living.
  • Develop and establish treatment outcome goals based on initial patient assessments. Goals must be measurable, realistic, and appropriate to the patient's condition.
  • Plan and implement dynamic treatment programs to achieve or progress toward established treatment goals, ensuring consistency and continuity to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served, including an understanding of growth and development principles over the life span.
  • Understand and adhere to state laws and regulations regarding school-based therapy, documentation, and billing.
  • Develop and manage students’ Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, progress reports, and participate in annual review meetings with staff and parents/caregivers.

Requirements:

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy curriculum.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Idaho (candidates may apply prior to graduating or receiving licensure).

Work Conditions/Hours:

  • Acute Rehab Unit Only: Schedule will be either Tuesday-Saturday (five 8-hour shifts) or Wednesday-Saturday (four 10-hour shifts).
  • Acute Rehab Unit/Inpatient Units: Schedule will be either Tuesday-Saturday (five 8-hour shifts) or Wednesday-Saturday (four 10-hour shifts), with hours shared 50/50 between the Acute Rehab Unit and Inpatient units.
