IT Project Manager (3188)

Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting an IT Project Manager for Idaho Falls, ID.  This position will be primarily remote with support trips to the facility as required.

• Gather, organize, and share project knowledge.
• Assist with or directly manage the execution of projects.
• Ensure projects are run in a repeatable, consistent way.
• Provide support for decision making within IT.
• Support formal estimating activities, for example DOE-ID new scope requests.
• Lead formal VAR, PFA, milestone, and schedule activities for PM assigned projects.
• Utilize appropriate tools (e.g., MS Project, P6) to effectively manage projects.
• Interface with IT teams, other ICP organizations, DOE-ID, and DOE HQ, in order to ensure customer requirements/deliverables are understood and met.
• Participate in effectively communicating project information, e.g., per-project communication plan, IT Weekly Report, DOE-ID Monthly Report, weekly IT Management Meeting

Requirements

• Applicable bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of applicable experience.
• Project Management Institute (PMI) certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, PgMP) desired.
• Previous EVMS training a plus
• Experience in IT is a plus
• Experience managing IT projects is a plus
