JOB TITLE: Family Medicine Residency Program Coordinator
SUPERVISOR: MSIGMER Director of Graduate Medical Education
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Mountain States Institute for Graduate Medical Education and Research (MSIGMER) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the creation and growth of Graduate Medical Education (GME) Programs in Idaho and the surrounding region. MSIGMER is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) as a Sponsoring Institution to provide post-graduate training Programs to physicians who have completed a recognized undergraduate medical education program. With support from the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM), MSIGMER in partnership with Saint Alphonsus Health System (SAHS) are developing a Family Medicine Residency Program in Nampa, ID at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Nampa with a launch date of July 2025.
The Program Coordinator for the Family Medicine Residency is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position. This individual serves as the primary support for the Residency Program Director and supports all aspects of the Residency Program.
Requirements
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide information, support, and problem-solving assistance for Residents and Program Faculty as needed
- Manage and coordinate conferences, including the maintenance of attendance records of the event as well as any handouts/ancillary information
- Support the Program Director in maintaining ACGME and specialty board requirements for the Program
- Perform data management, tracking, and reporting functions utilizing various GME software programs
- Coordinate Resident recruitment and selection processes
- Track Resident conference attendance and maintain Resident evaluation system in MedHub
- Prepare various schedules for Resident activities
- Act as liaison between Residency Program and away rotations, affiliated clinical sites, and medical schools

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience in the medical administrative setting, or a desire to learn
- Commitment to the mission and vision of MSIGMER
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in English effectively in writing and verbally
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in Graduate Medical Education
- TAGME Certification
