The CBH Events Operation Assistant is role is responsible for:
- Vendor Booking: Identify, negotiate with, and book vendors for community events, ensuring all needs and specifications are met through the correct approval process.
- Event Planning: Manage community event sponsorships from start to finish, coordinating logistics, schedules, and event requirements.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors, sponsors, and community members throughout the event process.
- Event Coordination: Assist in the setup, execution, and takedown of company and community events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Checklists & Layouts: Create and manage event checklists and layouts, ensuring all elements are planned and executed efficiently.
- Company Culture: maintaining a positive / fun working environment while representing CBH Homes at community events
- Organizing storage areas & swag
- Loading and unloading event swag and equipment up to 30 lbs

Requirements
A successful Sales & Marketing Assistant will possess the following skills:
- Is willing to happily serve. What does this mean? It means helping others with a smile. Getting water for a coworker. Taking out someone's trash. Opening a door. Grabbing coffee for a visitor. Seeing a coworker/ customer/ colleague's need and proudly fulfilling it.
- Is a go-getter. You must be willing to go beyond an email and seek the answers you need to find, either in person or on the phone.
- Is willing to start early - sometimes VERY early - sometimes go long, i.e. 5 am - 6 pm, and not balk in the face of occasionally working a weekend or eating lunch on the run. Typical hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, though this varies based on the statement above.
- Is dependable. Meaning rarely late for work. The type of person that if you say you'll be there at 8:00 am, you're there at 7:45 am, ready to go.
- Is always pushing to get things done. It's important that you like to take responsibility, and your main focus is always delivering results.
- Is organized and can handle multiple projects at once
- Comfortable with Gmail, Google Docs, Google Drive, and Google Calendar
- Knows how to handle email like a boss
- Enjoys supporting multiple departments and is capable of communicating expectations and deadlines
- Has a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Has excellent written and verbal skills, an eye for formatting within written communication, tact and poise within interpersonal communication.
- Is highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Is great at anticipating what might be needed and what is next.
- Owns a professional wardrobe.
- Is okay with change. Our company as a whole is extremely forward thinking and tech savvy. We are always willing to try a new software/ web service/ tool if it is better than what we are currently using. We challenge the old ways. This means so will you. Are you okay with that? - Has experience with planning and executing events.
