Human Supports of Idaho, a partner practice of Behavioral Health Solutions is hiring!

Our Child Mental Health Program is expanding, and we are looking for FT/PT Behavioral Health Counselors to join our team! The objective for this position is to provide treatment services primarily to children experiencing mental health issues. These services are provided in a community outpatient setting and intended to assist the client in obtaining and implementing skills for coping with issues such as trauma, familial and/or peer conflict, mental health disorders, grief and loss, relational issues, and community re-engagement.

Job Duties

  • Create a safe and trusting space in order to build rapport with participants and their designated supports.
  • Complete various assessments, treatment plans, reviews, and progress notes in a timely manner.
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with treatment providers and staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written communication.
  • Adhere to HSI policies and procedures as well as the Professional Code of Ethics.
  • Effectively navigate Electronic Medical Record systems (Athena. Training will be provided in house).

Requirements

  • A current, unrestricted license from the State of Idaho as an LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LCPC, or LMFT.
  • Pass a Health & Welfare Enhanced criminal history background check.
  • Computer literate and able to meet deadlines.
  • Positive, organized, self-driven attitude.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous training and experience working with Severely Emotionally Disturbed (SED) youth.
  • Skilled in diagnosing, treatment planning, and implementation.
  • Familiarity with Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths assessment.
  • Hold a certification or specialty beyond their license.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems.
  • Spanish language fluency.

Pay:

  • $31.00 to $49.00 per Billable Hour. W2 and Independent Contractor options are available.
  • Compensation is determined based on licensure (Independent vs Associate level), pay model preferred, and experience.
