Cath Lab Technologist

Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 (Must have a minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience to qualify)

We are seeking skilled and experienced Cath Lab Technologists to join our team. The ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures within a cardiac and/or general catheterization laboratory. The role involves operating radiographic fluoroscopic equipment, assisting physicians and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring a high standard of patient care and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate radiographic fluoroscopic equipment for general diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Assist physicians, technologists, and nurses in maintaining a customer-friendly environment in the laboratory.
• Participate in call rotation and adhere to variable shift scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards for licenses and certifications.

Must-Haves:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures in a cardiac and/or general catheterization laboratory.
• At least one year of experience in digital and cine imaging and archiving.
• Proficiency in X-ray, monitoring, and scrubbing.

Shift/Weekend Rotation:

• Monday – Friday; 8-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Call Schedule:

• $4.00/hour while on call, with a minimum of 8 shifts/month including 1-2 weekends/month.
• Call Back: Minimum of 2 hours of pay when called in, at time and one-half.

Volume/Caseload:

• 30+ scheduled cases per week
