Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting an Business Intelligence Architect for Idaho Falls, ID. This position will be a 6 month position with the possibility of extending an additional 6 months.

BI Architects design the data systems, and the tools required by the organization and provide extensive data analysis. Additional responsibilities include managing developers, custom application development, and complex ad hoc data analysis capabilities based on current organizational requirements. Primary responsibilities include:
- Leverage databases, analytics, and other data tools to manage data.
- Analyze data from surveys, win/loss/miss, business travel news, and more to uncover trends and insights.
- Interface with Sr Management, CAMs, PMs to determine business needs
- Coordinate the design, development, delivery, and management of targeted communications.
- Partner with others and program teams to promote the effective use of data.
- Leverage change management structure to understand needs for report creation.
- Manipulate and format raw data extracted from primary data sources
- Identify and communicate operational impact of analytical findings/decision support.
- Maintain and improve data pipelines, master datasets, and dashboards.
- Fulfill ad-hoc requests from business leaders for tweaks to metrics, added views, and updates to visualizations.
- Lead the investigation (root cause analysis) and resolution of problems.
- Validate quality and appropriateness of source data and pertinence of results within client objectives.
- Build reports and charts to illustrate correlations, trends, forecasts, etc.
- Complete thorough peer review ensuring accuracy and validity of work.
- Launch and train key stakeholders on new reporting or analysis.
- Provide EVMS compliant reporting capabilities
- Participate in safety meetings
- Provide innovative and cost efficient continuous improvement suggestions
Requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Preferred experience in the following software: Deltek Cobra, Oracle Primarvera P6, MS Excel, PCR, EVP
- PMP Certification Preferred
