Acute Rehab Registered Nurse

Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Acute Rehab unit.
- Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized care plans based on the patients' needs and goals.
- Monitor and document patients' physical and psychological status, progress, and response to treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Provide patient and family education on disease management, medication administration, and self-care.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Acute Rehab nursing.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation nursing principles and practices.
