Ho’okele Homecare is searching for caregivers who seek pride in their work and serve to make a meaningful difference in their client’s lives. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Nursing Assistants (NA) will provide one-on-one care to clients within the client’s home by ensuring safety, comfort, and overall well-being.
We have both full-time and part-time positions available and can offer flexible schedules to accommodate your lifestyle and availability.
Hourly Personal Care Assistant – You will provide personal care to one client with visits ranging between 4 to 12 hours depending on both your availability and the needs of our client. We can work together to develop a schedule that works best for you!
- Starting Pay: $17/hour* (Part-Time) $18/hour* (Full-Time)
- * Following successful completion of 90 day training/introductory period. During 90 day training/introductory period pay is $1/hour less.
- Earn up to a $500 sign-on bonus!
- For shifts less than 8 hours we pay $19/hour* (Part-Time) $20/hour (Full-Time)
We provide pay differentials for couples and advanced cases, and these differentials can be stacked.

Responsibilities May Include:
- Providing assistance to clients in performing daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming.
- Providing medication reminders in accordance with the plan of care.
- Accurately documenting the client's care activities and promptly reporting any significant findings.
- Monitoring, documenting and reporting any changes in the client's health or behavior.
- Offering companionship to clients.
- Assisting with light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) OR proof of completion of a Nursing Assistant (NA) program
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR and First-Aid certification (no online certifications).
- Reliable transportation.
- Clear background checks and drug screening.
- Health Clearance / Physical Exam (within a year)
- Proof of 2-Step and current TB clearance (within a year)
- Must have a smartphone
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a medical or religious exemption
