The Legal Aid Society of Hawaiʻi is Hawaiʻi’s oldest and largest non-profit public interest law firm with offices statewide. Our organization is dedicated to providing legal assistance and advocacy to individuals and families in need.

We are currently seeking a Pay/Billing/Records Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing all aspects of our organization's financial transactions, billing, and record-keeping. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and processing invoices and bills
  • Recording payments and account transactions
  • Maintaining accurate financial and billing records
  • Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
  • Assisting with payroll processing
  • Generating financial reports and statements
  • Providing assistance and support to attorneys and staff with financial matters

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in financial management or accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software
  • Strong organizational and numerical skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of legal billing practices is a plus

Compensation:
