One-on-One Home Care - CNA/NA - Short Shifts Available

Ho'okele Home Care is growing and looking to add Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Nursing Assistants (NA) to join our AWESOME team. As a caregiver, you will provide one-on-one care to clients, helping them be safe and, comfortable within their home.

We currently have schedules that could fit your availability needs, whether your a student, have another job, or just have time to work a few hours every week. We can work together to develop a schedule that works best for you. Our caregivers provide one-on-one care spending meaningful time with clients, building strong relationships, and making a positive impact on their lives. We have both full-time and part-time positions available and can offer flexible schedules to accommodate your lifestyle and availability.

• Hourly Personal Care Assistant - Our personal care assistants can do short shift work one-on-one with clients with visits ranging from 4 up to 7 hours depending on your availability and the needs of our clients -

• Starting Pay:
• $20/hour for shifts less than 8 hours* (Full-Time)
• * Following successful completion of 90 day training/introductory period. During 90 day training/introductory period pay is $17/hour.
• Part-time positions earn $1/hour less
• Earn up to a $500 sign-on bonus!

We pay differentials for couples and advanced cases too and pay differentials can stack.

We also offer Quarterly Performance, Anniversary, and Referral Bonuses too.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Provide assistance to clients in performing daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide medication reminders in accordance with the plan of care.
• Accurately document the client's care activities and promptly report any significant findings.
• Monitor, document and report any changes in the client's health or behavior.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or completion of a Nursing Assistant (NA) program.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic CPR and First-Aid certification (no online certifications).
• Reliable transportation.
• Clear background checks and drug screening.
• Health Clearance / Physical Exam (within a year)
• Proof of 2-Step and current TB clearance (within a year)
• Must have a smartphone
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a medical or religious exemption
