Job Duties:
Safety and Training Duties:
· Position-specific training after company-wide orientations. Drivers, order pickers, assembly, warehouse staff.
· Monthly safety inspection checklists.
· Safety meeting topics for weekly warehouse meetings.
· Address safety issues in the warehouse. Especially after an accident or near accident occurs.
· Collaborate and draft SOPs for each process in the warehouse. Use these to train new hires and retrain current employees.
· Monitor Dispatch Track surveys for training opportunities for drivers or warehouse employees.
HR Related Duties:
· Walk-in applications reviewed and interviewed.
· Interview scheduled candidates from HR recruiters.
· Communicate with recruiters and candidates on the next steps. Offering positions or scheduling start dates.
· Complete onboarding for new hires in Paylocity.
· Company-wide orientation. General company history, benefits, and code of conduct.
· Maintain staffing levels to focus hiring efforts.
· Determine urgent needs in the warehouse where using temporary workers would make sense.
· Submit temporary employees’ timecards with each staffing agency.
· Monitor employees’ hours and send out reports to managers to keep overtime at a minimum. · Check on new hires throughout their first few weeks to ensure everything is going well and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
Job Requirements:
· Warehouse or distribution experience
· Takes ownership of everything within the scope of responsibility while still empowering others to do the same

- Coaching and developing others to higher levels of performance
- Desire to improve continuously
- Candidate must pass a credit check, background check, and drug test
