We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Vice President of Agricultural Operations based in Atlanta, Georgia. As the VP of Agricultural Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our agricultural operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies and plans to drive the growth and success of our agricultural operations.
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our farms, including crop production, livestock management, and irrigation systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, as well as environmental and sustainability practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Identify and implement innovative technologies, techniques, and best practices to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing agricultural operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive excellence and achieve targets.
  • Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role in agricultural operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of agricultural practices, technologies, and sustainability.
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent operational management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in managing large-scale farms and operations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
