Summer Support (Young Adult) Assistant

Turning Point Church will provide every summer young adults (ages 18-25) with an opportunity to work and use their gifts and talents to work alongside a select group of departments within our church, providing them the experience, community and mentorship they will need for a career and calling vocation in full-time ministry service.

The Whens: These summer employment opportunities will be for 8 weeks, beginning the first Monday in June and ending on the last Friday in July. Students will be required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week on-site, and serve for at least two (2) services each weekend, along with special events held at the church.

The Wheres: Students will be provided a weekly schedule and listing of tasks and projects by their assigned department. This schedule will be provided on the Sunday prior to every week they are participating in the program.

The Hows: All prospective candidates will be required to submit an official application, and participate in an interview with a department director (either in-person or via video) to be considered for employment. Applications will be available on May 5th, and must be submitted by May 19th. Upon acceptance, candidates will be requested to select from the following departments to study and serve within their internship program:

Benefits

All candidates will be paid by the hour at a rate of $15 per hour. Department directors will be required to submit timesheets that highlight daily start and stop times for each employee.
