Killian Hill Christian School is a Christian private school serving K4-12 located in Gwinnett since 1972. The quality and committed faculty have been teaching at KH on average of 15 years and teaching overall for 22 years. As a ministry of Killian Hill Baptist Church, KHCS exists to assist parents in their God-given responsibility of educating their young people by providing a high-quality spiritual and academic program, enhanced by balanced fine arts and athletics, while encouraging them to live disciplined, Christ-centered lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and support to students in accordance with lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
• Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Manage student behavior and ensure compliance with school policies.
• Assess and record student progress and participation.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents about classroom activities and student performance.
• Be prepared to teach various subjects and grade levels as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma is required; Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
• Teaching certification or license is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong commitment to the mission and values of a Christ-centered education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom and engage students effectively.
• Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to various classroom environments.
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience is preferred but not required.
