Structural Designer

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Structural Designer in Norcross, GA.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis and design of structural components for bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other transportation-related structural systems.
• Deliver technical solutions to clients typically in the form of contract documents such as construction plans, design calculations, and project specifications
• A high level of attention to detail is required for this position.
• Structural design utilizing AASHTO and other applicable design specifications as well as state and local design requirements. Job duties also include task management, seismic design, bridge/culvert inspection, load rating, review and approval of construction submittals, quality control, communication with clients, and additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT in Georgia, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• 3+ years of experience with transportation projects desired.
• Experience with Design-Bid-Build projects.
• Advance knowledge of GDOT Design Practices.
