The Opportunity 

The Sr. Associate will focus on Insight Sourcing’s IT Center of Excellence (COE) to support all aspects of client-facing IT sourcing and cost optimization projects. You'll be expected to support all aspects of Insight Sourcing’s client-facing projects with direction from our experienced management team. In addition, you'll use your consulting, problem-solving, project management, and data analysis skills to assist client decision-making at private equity (PE) and Fortune 500 companies while still maintaining a healthy work-life balance.   

Shape Client Success in IT Procurement 

Typical client-facing projects would involve IT within the context of: 

• Strategic sourcing and cost optimization (both within a company and across a portfolio of companies) 
• Managed service support for strategic negotiations and software renewal pipeline 
• Procurement opportunity assessment and opportunity roadmap 
• Procurement transformation 
• Spend analytics 
• Make vs. buy decision analysis 
• Benchmarking and best practices implementation 

Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses some experience and exposure to IT procurement and/or negotiations across areas such as IT Services & Labor, IT Infrastructure, IT Software, and Telecommunications.  We are looking for a passionate individual who can infuse Accenture Strategy Procurement Consulting with their expertise in IT procurement while demonstrating a strong aptitude for learning and growth. 

Position Requirements  

Sr. Associate  

• 3-5 years of management consulting experience supporting procurement and / or strategic sourcing initiatives within the IT procurement space 
• Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment  

• Ability to effectively plan and manage multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously  
• Demonstrated project management, consulting, leadership, and analytical skills  
• Strong work ethic and a high level of integrity  
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to present comfortably to senior executives  
• Proficient at building and nurturing client relationships; proven client-facing skills  
• Undergraduate degree with a strong GPA from a highly competitive institution  
• Located in or willingness to relocate to Atlanta, GA
