Full Job Description

Engineering Design Technologies is seeking a Senior Project Manager to be part of our team in Metro Atlanta. With more than 30 years of experience in the design and construction industry, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to manage various commercial and/or industrial construction projects ranging in size from $2MM to $30MM. The ideal candidate should be goal-driven, exhibit excellent leadership skills, and possess a solid understanding of construction methodologies in order to direct and control all phases of construction projects from preparation of a bid on through to final closeout.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation, monitoring progress, ensuring quality output, and safety compliance up to completion
  • Collaborate with the pre-construction team to develop a project schedule, select subcontractors and equipment, and determine manpower requirements
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise them as needed to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Ensure project delivery within the budget guidelines, and ensure all financial targets are met
  • Supervise and guide project team members and subcontractors through clear communication, training and monitoring of their performance
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and risk management plans throughout the project's lifecycle
  • Continuously monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders, including upper management and clients

Requirements

  • Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
    • Minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience in construction
    • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously
    • Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills
    • Familiarity with construction software tools, including but not limited to Bluebeam, MS Office Suite, MS Project and Procore
    • Knowledge of safety guidelines, regulations, and legal issues related to construction
    • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
