Senior Accountant CPA

Hire Resolve's client is one of the fastest-growing CPA firms in the industry providing services to small and medium sized clients and individuals, and they are expanding their team, headhunting for the perfect Senior Accountant from Marietta GA. This candidate will join their business operations team, and be responsible for the following duties:

• Manage audits, taxation compliance, accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll operations.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with US taxation laws.
• Handle accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
• Analyze financial data for insights and recommendations.
• Support business initiatives and strategic objectives.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Assist with client onboarding and retention initiatives.
• Prepare year-end audit schedules and support the process.
• Assist in documenting, designing, and testing financial procedures.
• Implement systems and spreadsheet automation for efficiency.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, the candidate will need:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, but a Masters is a plus
• Either an Active CPA, or finalizing their CPA license
• Minimum of 3 years professional experience within accounting, experience within a CPA firm
• Great knowledge of GAAP
• Individual/Business Tax experience is a plus
• Proficient in accounting software
• Willing to train to become a manager
• Able to do financial accounting for NonProfit and Profit firms
