Full Job Description

  • Be physically present in the office Monday through Thursday each week with remote work option on Fridays.
  • Open and route incoming mail to the correct recipients daily
  • Deposit check payments through our bank’s remote deposit machine and post the payments within our system of record daily
  • Prepare and forward outgoing mail and packages daily
  • Responsible for customized billing
  • Process and/or set up customer payments
  • Process customer hardships and deferrals
  • Moves accounts into a default status and writes off the AR if applicable
  • Analysis of customer account balances and transaction histories for accuracy and report findings to customers or internal staff as requested
  • Verify data pump history and appropriate apply unapplied funds received via payment vendor
  • Verify and ensure customer account data matches the account data with our payment vendors
  • Coordinates customer requests for invoice copies, with accounting support staff, as requested
  • Build and analyze the payment reports from payment vendors and notate them appropriately
  • Process refunds and/or credits when necessary
  • Assists with related special projects, as required
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

·       Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent

·       One to two years related experience or equivalent.

·       Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

·       Acute attention to detail

·       Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

·       Strong interpersonal skills.

·       Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,

     interest, commissions, and percentages

·       Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

·       Ability to perform diversified clerical functions and basic accounting procedures

·       Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
