Full Job Description
Seasoned Recruitment is looking for a Registered Nurse with a specialization in Behavioral Health. The role involves providing comprehensive care to patients with mental health and behavioral disorders, including assessing patients' needs, and developing care plans. Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, a compassionate approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Responsibilities:
- Must carry out nursing patient care responsibilities for the designated unit or department under the guidance of the Clinical Coordinator and/or Nursing Unit Director.
- Must plan, provide, and evaluate total nursing care in accordance with the established patient care philosophy.
- Must facilitate individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
- Must relate effectively with other shifts for continuity of care, maintain satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units; and participate in all phases of education.
Requirements
Minimum Education
- Must have an Associate degree in nursing Required (RN)
Required Skills:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a busy environment and take appropriate action when needed.
Certifications:
- Must have a Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Must have Handle with Care Certification or Crisis Prevention Intervention Certification /Training (CPI) within 90 days of hire preferred.
- Advanced cardiovascular life support certification ( ACLS) is preffered
Licenses:
- Valid licensure in the state of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN) or multi state / compact RN license.
- Minimum Work Experience:
Six (6) months of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a direct patient care setting preferred.
Experience in a behavioral health facility is preferred. - New graduates encouraged to apply as well.
