About the role
The Project Manager leads and manages all aspects of an Advisory project. This is a client-facing position. The Project Manager works directly with a core team on the client side as well as a team of LRN specialists, which may include an ethics and compliance subject matter expert, graphic designer, writer, editor, translations manager, and others.
We anticipate the Project Manager will have a primary focus supporting our Code of Conduct Solutions, although the Project Manager may also manage other Advisory Services projects as needed. Specific responsibilities are listed below.
You will:
- Act as the primary relationship manager during client projects and drive client projects by understanding client objectives and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Understand client goals and work with and assist wider LRN and client teams to ensure a successful project execution.
- Develop detailed resourcing and project plans in Mavenlink (LRN’s project management software tool) to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.
- Monitor projects and oversee internal and client team members during project delivery to ensure deliverables meet budget and timeline requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and other project stakeholders.
- Maintain robust reporting of project status to all internal and client stakeholders.
- Identify issues that could impact scope, deliverables, timing, budget, and client satisfaction, escalate to the assigned LRN Ethics and Compliance Advisor and Client Success Manager as appropriate, and manage or support in resolving escalations.
- Identify and alert the Client Success Manager to growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
- Minimum 2 years of client-facing project management experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to multi-task, detail orientated, and highly organized.
- Ability to manage high-profile client relationships, including creative problem-solving to meet changing needs and expectations while also maintaining appropriate boundaries.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience with project management systems such as Asana, Mavenlink, Trello, etc. is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
