Project Billing Accountant Receivable

Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. (EDT) is currently seeking a Project Billing Accountant Receivable to join our team. As a leading engineering and design firm, EDT specializes in providing innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing project billing and accounts receivable processes for engineering and construction projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare accurate and timely project invoices based on contract terms and project milestones
• Ensure proper documentation of project billing activities and maintain billing records
• Coordinate with project managers and project teams to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues
• Track and monitor accounts receivable for assigned projects, chasing outstanding payments
• Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve any billing or payment-related inquiries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project billing schedules and records
• Assist in financial reporting and analysis related to project billing and accounts receivable

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project billing or accounts receivable
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Experience in the engineering or construction industry is a plus
