The Scheduler will oversee the efficient planning, coordination, and monitoring of production schedules to ensure that manufacturing operations meet customer demand, delivery timelines, and production targets. This role requires close collaboration with various departments, including production, supply chain, quality, and customer service, to minimize downtime, optimize resources, and drive operational excellence.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
  • Adjust schedules to accommodate changes in demand, machine availability, and material supply.
  • Allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet production goals.
  • Identify and address potential bottlenecks or resource conflicts in a timely manner.
  • Track production progress against the schedule and address deviations proactively.
  • Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
  • Work closely with procurement to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
  • Coordinate with quality assurance to ensure all products meet quality standards before shipment.
  • Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant departments and stakeholders.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for process improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in scheduling to reduce downtime and improve workflow.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proven experience in production scheduling, planning, or coordination within a manufacturing environment.
    • Familiarity with ERP system (EPICOR).
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
    • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
    • Understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows.
    • Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain principles.
