Production Associate

Join our small but passionate team supplying specialty coffee to our community. We’re looking for someone equally passionate about coffee who is proactive and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. Play a key role in Georgia's best specialty coffee roaster.

Key Responsibilities

• Fulfill retail and wholesale coffee bean orders, package coffee and prepare shipments
• Maintain clean and efficient workspace to maximize productivity
• Barista duties as needed

Specific Duties

• Leads order fulfillment for Radio retail and wholesale coffee orders
• Prints order packing slips 
• Preps USPS and UPS shipping boxes for retail and wholesale orders
• Prints coffee bag labels for each production run (approximately .75 hour)
• Apply labels to appropriate size bags in production run (approx 2 hours)
• Use Weigh-Right automated bagger to fill coffee in various sizes of bags (approx. 2.5 hrs)
• Fill orders with appropriate number of bags and place in shipping box
• Pack and seal boxes for shipping via USPS or UPS
• Print shipping labels using Dymo label printer and ShipStation software
• Occasional delivery of retail orders to USPS or UPS
• Ensure in-house coffee retail shelves are stocked and back stocked (esp on Thursdays going into weekends)
• Track supply levels including all shipping containers or labels
• Regular upkeep, tidying and sweeping of production area at end of each day
• Assist rest of team in upkeep of overall facility, incl. weekly cleaning shared bathroom
• Willingness to learn about Radio coffee offerings and share that knowledgewith customers

Requirements

• Must be dependable, punctual and adhere to a strict schedule
• Must be able to lift 15-30 lbs regularly
• Previous experience in coffee roasting or food packaging facility
• Must be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Must be positive and approachable and practice kindness
• Ability to learn quickly and display a methodical approach to problem solving
• Must be 18 years or older
• Part-time position available from 16-20 hours per week
• Additional hours possible for barista shifts as needed
• Basic computer/Mac OS skills
