Product Engineer -Evaporators  Atlanta GA area

A globally leading supplier of plants, equipment, and services for the pulp and paper industry is seeking a self-motivated, experienced Product Engineer – Evaporators to join our team in Altlanta, GA. You will provide engineering support for the Evaporator Service Product Group within North America, and assume process engineering responsibility for all Evaporator Service Products.

 This is an exempt position with an annual bonus potential.   

·       Process engineering support to the Product Manager of the full line of Evaporator Service products including sales, sizing, and project support.

·       Customer visits & audits focused on problem resolution and product sales including detailed trip reports and follow-up.

·       Heat and material balance calculations.

·       Process equipment sizing.

·       P&ID & system configurations

·       Safety & HAZOP reviews including safety system design reviews.

·       Process engineering support for checkouts, start-ups & performance testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering or Pulp & Paper Technology with a minimum of 5+ years of directly related experience
• Experience in providing customers with on-site evaluations, audits & training.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills. Communicating effectively on various levels, verbally and in writing is essential.
• Must be able to work independently and within a group.
• Moderate travel is required for this position (30%-50%) depending on project activity.
