Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Supervisor - Procurement for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will play a key part in driving efficiency improvements, ensuring supplier compliance with company policies, and supporting internal stakeholders through training on procurement policies and procedures. This position is crucial to achieving annual savings targets, enhancing supplier performance, and contributing to the success of the Field Operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process improvement initiatives specifically for the Field Operations Business.
- Achieve annual savings targets for the Field Procurement Operations (FPO) Tactical team through effective supplier negotiations for low-value field purchases (typically under $10k).
- Ensure spend compliance by adhering to established sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with the Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) team, Field Leadership, and other departments to support company objectives.
- Manage relationships with third-party qualification providers to maintain up-to-date vendor processes and compliance standards.
- Oversee daily buyer workload to meet service level agreements and ensure timely and accurate procurement activities.
- Host quarterly meetings with internal stakeholders to gather feedback, implement action plans, and improve team performance.
- Coordinate and balance departmental schedules to meet project requirements and priorities.
- Provide coaching, training, and development to Field Procurement Operations team members.
- Identify and address supplier performance gaps, escalating issues to PSM leadership as needed.
- Facilitate communication between the Field Procurement Operations team and cross-functional departments..

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Supply Chain roles, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience. Familiarity with the elevator industry or similar sectors preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and experience in spend data analytics and reporting.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of purchasing policies, procedures, and procure-to-pay (P2P) platforms.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional persuasion, stakeholder management, and communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities and integrity, with a sense of urgency in achieving results.
- Certifications (Preferred): ISM, CIPS, Six Sigma Green Belt, PMP.
