Post Production Intern

In the ever-changing arena of advertising and communications, POOLHOUSE is looking for creative, intelligent, and eager interns to join the team this summer! POOLHOUSE’s summer internship program is a full-time, 10-week paid internship open to rising college seniors and post-graduates. Designed to propel your career in advertising account management, design, production, and media. We offer internships in a variety of different areas.

Interns are selected to work alongside a specific department (Brand, Political, Design, Post-Production) for the length of the program. In addition to receiving direct mentoring within your capability area, interns will have exposure to other areas of the business to enhance their professional and communication skills.

We are looking for an intern to join our post-production team this summer to support our fast-paced production department, learn from industry professionals, and gain experience on actual client work. This intern will gain real-world experience working around tight deadlines and delivering videos at the highest level. 

Requirements

• Collaborating with our Director of Post-Production on edit prep, asset management, pulling selects, creating string-outs, and all things related to “offline-editing”
• Take ownership of completing quick-turn edits 
• Assist with internal project management including creative timelines and quality control for video projects 
• Assist with media encoding and exporting files in the necessary formats
• Lead our archiving efforts for proper storage of completed projects  

• Provide entry-level motion graphic skills on edits that require them
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications for editing
• Proven organization skills and the ability to adapt to new assignments, deadlines, and conditions quickly
• Strong verbal and written communication skills – 
• Developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a variety of people across multiple accounts
• Working knowledge of G Suite.
