  • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented People Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in New York City. This role will be pivotal in managing all HR data, systems, reporting, and analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief People Officer, finance and legal departments to ensure seamless operations and compliance. A strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, as well as solid project management skills, are essential for this role.

šŸŽÆ Hereā€™s What Youā€™ll Be Doing

HR Data Management:

    • Oversee and maintain accurate HR data within HRIS and other HR systems, ensuring data integrity and security across all HR platforms. Conduct regular audits and updates to maintain data accuracy.
    • Manage HR information systems to optimize efficiency, implementing system upgrades and enhancements in collaboration with IT.
    • Provide user training and support for HR systems, ensuring all users are proficient and the systems are utilized effectively.

Systems Management:

    • Manage HR information systems, ensuring they are optimized for efficiency.

Reporting and Analysis:

    • Develop and generate comprehensive HR reports and dashboards.
    • Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights for strategic decision-making.
    • Present findings to senior management and other stakeholders.

Collaboration with Finance and Legal:

    • Work closely with the finance team to align HR data with financial data for budgeting and forecasting.
    • Ensure compliance with legal requirements in all HR processes and documentation.
    • Collaborate with the legal team on matters related to employment law and company policies.

Project Management:

    • Lead and manage HR projects from inception to completion.
    • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.

Excel/Google Sheets Expertise:

    • Utilize advanced Excel and Google Sheets functions to manage and analyze data.
    • Create complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros to streamline data processes.
    • Develop and maintain spreadsheets for tracking HR metrics and KPIs.

Requirements

To shine in this role, youā€™ll need:

  • Bachelorā€™s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR operations or a related role.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including advanced functions and data manipulation.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., HiBob, Workable or similar).
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with finance and legal teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

The pay range for this position in New York City is $90,000 - $120,000 + equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401K). Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
