JOB ROLE: Partnerships Account Manager
LOCATION: Atlanta office - Hybrid working model, attendance in the office is expected at least 2 days a week.
REPORTING TO: Global Head of Supplier Engagement

Role Overview
The Strategic Partnerships team focuses on expanding CMSPI’s relationships and level of engagement globally with key payments industry stakeholders. We work with our Global 500 merchant clients, and their payments partners to maximize performance and drive meaningful mutual benefit.
The group of partners encompasses networks, acquirers and processors, issuers, alternative payment methods, orchestrators, payment service providers, gateways, fraud providers, and more.
As a member of our Strategic Insights & Partnerships team, the Partnerships Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining global industry partnerships with key suppliers.
This individual will serve as the primary contact for designated supplier partners as well as internal CMSPI teams. The Partnerships Account Manager will also be responsible for managing and maintaining information provided by partners in conjunction with CMSPI partner programs. In addition, they will facilitate collaboration on thought leadership and efforts to modernize data sharing and engagement.
As a Partnerships Account Manager your responsibilities cover, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage designated industry partner relationships
- Facilitate recurring touchpoints with designated industry partners
- Capture and communicate with internal teams on solutions, capabilities and coverage models
- Provide suppliers with process feedback and pipeline visibility
- Coordinate and execute communication strategies for new and ongoing merchant client engagements
- Manage and maintain non-disclosure agreements with designated supplier partners
- Support modernization of data sharing processes and modalities
- Provide ongoing education and support to internal CMSPI teams on partner engagements
- Represent CMSPI at select industry events, tradeshows and conferences with a focus on industry partner interactions
- Update and maintain partner contact database in Salesforce
Requirements
You are a great match if...
- An energetic self-starter with a track record of delivering results and the ability to build long-term relationships
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5 years of related experience, preferably within a payment consulting firm or payment service provider organization
- Experience managing complex, global relationships
- Strong technical understanding of payments, including the overall landscape and key stakeholders
- Excellent written skills - ability to write in a professional, insightful, accurate and relationship-oriented manner
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks at any one time
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively in both formal and informal settings.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce
- Willingness to travel to partner, client and company meetings and events as required (expect 10%-15% travel)
