Typical Hours: Part-time - Select your desired business hours from 7AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday.
Mostly Remote, but may require an occasional meeting or mail pick up in the Atlanta, GA, area.
Third Eye Software is seeking a Part Time Bookkeeper with a strong attention to detail and a thorough understanding of bookkeeping principles. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, paying vendors, preparing invoices and reconciling accounts. This position is ideal for someone with a background in the corporate world who is seeking a part-time opportunity that offers a more manageable workload with reduced stress.
As a member of our team, you will have the flexibility to work mostly remote with occasional in-person meetings in Atlanta, GA. Please note that successful candidates are required to pass a multi-panel drug screen and background check.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Skills:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, with strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Highly Proficient in Quickbooks AP/AR/Multi-state Payroll.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Monitor cash flow and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile bank and loan statements.
- Enter bills and pay vendors.
- Perform monthly account reconciliation.
- Run weekly payroll.
- Monitor Unemployment Insurance/Withholding compliance with multiple state agencies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of tax regulations.
- Comfortable working in a mostly remote setting with occasional in-person meetings.
- Nice to have: Associate or Bachelor's degree
