“Spectrum is seeking an Operations Manager - Warehouse who has responsibility to provide oversight and management to a team of 25 personnel supporting a cleared 80,000 Sq Ft Warehouse on Robins AFB, GA. Successful candidate will be an experienced supply manager with DoD and or Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) background in the material management functional area. Our candidate must be able to lead large, diverse teams of employees, maintain positive control of classified and unclassified items, and support a global customer base. This position is based in Robins AFB, GA, remote work is not authorized. Travel may be required but will be on a case-by-case basis. This is a supervisory position.
**ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED**
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs work and analysis associated with the management of items, and prepares data for accurate planning of budgetary estimates.
- Applies knowledge and experience to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of assigned programs
- Validates all Air Force repair requirements data, initiates repair, maintains documentation for repair actions.
- Maintains surveillance over Contractor Depot Repair, Organic Repair, Dual Repair and Depot Maintenance Interservice Agreements (DMISA) production.
- Analyzes customer requirements and directs worldwide DoD supply activities to optimize worldwide asset distribution.
- Independently prepares presentations and reports for management relative to any aspect of assigned items or projects when required.
- Provides status briefings to management and customers.
- Initiatives, facilitates and often chairs discussions, meetings, and serves on quality review teams, integrated product teams, panels or committees, as directed.
- Extensive knowledge of AFMAN 23-122 Materiel Management Procedures and AFI 23-101 Air Force Materiel Management for follows policies, plans and/or procedures for management of assigned workload.
- Experience that involves the analysis, planning, design, implementation, documentation, assessment, and management of an enterprise structural framework to align the information technology strategy, plans, and systems with the SCM mission, structure, and processes of the organization
- Extensive knowledge of large, complex aviation and/or communications-electronic ground systems CLS programs and their QA requirement
- Responsible for linking processes and inputs in order to maintain the balance and alignment between supply chain processes and customer and stakeholder objectives, achieving both weapon system availability and cost reduction goals and Warehousing and other Supply Chain Management (SCM) activities as required by the C2ISR weapon systems
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
- At least two years of experience in a managerial position related to CLS and material support and shall possess previous experience that enables a holistic focus on supply chain performance and relates supply chain input (money) to supply chain output (weapon system availability) to optimize spare parts availability.
- Service Members and Veterans with experience in the following MOS / AFSC / NCC rates should meet the qualifications for this position: MOS 3043, 92Y, 2S0X1.
- High School diploma, or equivalency required
- Have at least two years of experience in a (2S0X1) materials managerial position or Inventory Management Specialist related to Contract Logistics Services (CLS) and supply chain management support
- Two years of recent experience working in a DOD environment.
