Hi, I’m Joanne Bolt of the B-Word Podcast and leader in helping entrepreneurs bring their podcasts to life through digital courses & a highly specialized podcast network, PodcastHer. As we continue to grow, we are excited to welcome an Operations Manager who can work closely with me to orchestrate all the moving parts of the backend of the business. This is for you if your super power is implementation, love rolling up your sleeves, understand the digital product world and like to have fun doing it.
Requirements
Key Functions of the role:
Operational Management:
- Oversee and refine daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Research and recommend the best tech platforms to help automate and streamline operations, communication and day-to-day process
- Determine how best to use Slack for organized, company-wise communications and make sure all team & contractors understand how to use it
- Resolve failed payments & disputes as needed
- Ensure all legal needs are met for products & promotions
- Perform quarterly spend audits to ensure cost efficiency
Project Management:
- Manage launch & project execution plan, tasks and deadlines
- Set up systems, rhythms & processes for using Monday.com across all projects in the company
- Ensure Notion and Google Drive are organized & efficient for company information
- Organize all launch assets so they are easy to find
- Ensure efficiency communication & clarity across the contractor team
- Ensure there is a plan for the resources needed to complete the project
Process and People Management:
- Standardize common processes and ensure we have Looms and other training in place for team members to ramp up easily
- Ensure all core processes have SOPs in place; create rinse and repeat systems for launch tasks & communications
- Always have an eye for efficiency and improvement with process and team communication
- Onboard and integrate new contractors and team members smoothly
- Ensure Contractors have agreements in place with clear deliverables and invoicing instructions
Tech Enablement:
- Create automations & processes to support marketing & podcast network onboarding
- Execute landing pages, emails & chat sequences
- Ensure automations & tagging are working properly
- Manage logistics for live Zooms & replays
- Manage tracking of launch metrics through link tracking strategies such as UTMs
What We’re Looking For:
- You have proven work experience as an Operations Manager or similar role for an online business with references
- You can pick up new tech platforms easily through online tutorials and online research
- You have experience with Kajabi, email marketing software and ManyChat software
- You have high emotional intelligence, capable of fostering a positive, productive environment
- You are exceptionally organized and deadline-driven; adept at working in a fast-paced and dynamic setting
- You work collaboratively, take constructive feedback well and can apply direction without losing your point of view
