OB/GYN - Columbus, GA (#3020)

Board Certified

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an OB/GYN to fill an opening with a Multi-specialty Healthcare Facility located in Columbus, Georgia.

Responsibilities of the OB/GYN:

  • Review patient's medical history
  • Update charts and patient information to show current findings and treatments
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results.
  • Obstetricians and Gynecologists care for and treat women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.
  • Obstetricians and Gynecologists prescribe or administer therapy, medication, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
  • Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patient.
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
  • Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
  • Obstetricians and Gynecologists refer patient to medical specialist or other practitioner when necessary.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
  • Obstetricians and Gynecologists consult with or provide consulting services to other physicians.
  • Recommend and design a plan of treatment
  • Address concerns or answer questions that patients have about their health and well-being

Requirements

  • Must have an active State License
  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible

  • The salary for this position is $224,000 / yr (commensurate with experience)
