Millwright Journeyman

Shamrock Services, LLC, is currently hiring experienced millwrights for field work at customer sites. Work is local or requires minimal travel. Multicraft field experience is preferred. Successful applicants must be able to work collaboratively in a team approach. Responsibilities are:

Travel to various construction sites to meet project needs.

Install industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans or drawings.

Inspect machinery and equipment to identify malfunctions.

Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.

Repair or adjust machinery and equipment and ensure properly functioning after repair.

Maintain accurate repair documentation.

Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and equipment installation manuals.

Install and align drives, motors, pulleys, and couplings.

Plan work to ensure all components are available before commencing work.

Comply with applicable safety policies and regulations.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Ability to weld is a plus.

Experience with rigging equipment and working with cranes.

Pay for successful applicants is $24-$32 per hour based upon skills and experience. Most weeks include 50-60 hours. Hours after 40 are paid as overtime @ 1.5 your pay rate. When working away from home, you will be paid per diem and travel hours both ways. Company benefits are available after 60 days of employment.

Requirements

Valid drivers license.

Millwright specific hand tools. Power tools are provided by company.

Proven millwright experience in industrial settings.

Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to work independently without supervision.

Comfortable working at heights.

Good problem solving skills.
