Lab Technician

We are Recruiting on Purpose  a full-time Materials Testing Lab Technician to join our Client's fast-growing firm located in Marietta, Georgia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with testing and analyzing rock and soil samples in our laboratory. 

Prior geology laboratory experience and/or geology background is required for this position. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of AASHTO or ASTM aggregate testing experience, with NICET certification

Job Duties

Assist the Laboratory Manager with testing and analysis of rock and soil samples

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of AASHTO or ASTM aggregate testing experience

- Ability to safely lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis

- Legal authorization to work in the United States (confirmed via E-Verify)

- Ability to successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and OSHA physical

- Clean driving record

- NICET certification

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of eight years of experience in financial accounting, including at least three years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience in public accounting is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a capability to manage conflicts and communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated professionalism with a knack for handling confidential information and a fast-paced work environment.
