Duties:

- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create innovative menus and develop new recipes
- Ensure high-quality standards for food preparation and presentation
- Oversee kitchen operations, including staff supervision and training
- Manage inventory, ordering, and budget control
- Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment
- Collaborate with management to design seasonal offerings and special event menus

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Hibachi Chef in a high-volume kitchen setting
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Experience in menu planning, cost control, and kitchen management
- Prior experience in fine dining, banquets, or food service management is preferred

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
• Night shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Work setting:

• Casual dining restaurant
• Fine dining restaurant
• Upscale casual restaurant

Experience:

• Culinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
• Hibachi Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
• Catering: 1 year (Preferred)
• Culinary: 1 year (Preferred)
• Restaurant: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Food preparation: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (Preferred)
