Golf Starter (Tee Starter) - Saturday and Sunday 7a - 3p

About the role

Druid Hills Golf Club is seeking a Golf Starter (Tee Starter) to join our team. As a Golf Starter, you will be responsible for managing the orderly flow of play on the golf course and providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet golfers and provide a warm welcome as they arrive.
• Manage the tee sheet and ensure that players tee off on time.
• Coordinate with the Golf Shop to ensure smooth transition for tee times and bookings.
• Communicate with golfers about course conditions, rules, and any relevant information.
• Assist with resolving any issues or disputes that arise on the course.
• Monitor the pace of play and take necessary actions to keep the flow of play smooth.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all golfers have an enjoyable experience.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Golf Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Golf Starter or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of golf etiquette and rules.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
• Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work well in a team environment.
