We are immediately hiring a few Senior and Mid-Level Backend Golang Engineers to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Go (Golang) and experience with C, as we modernize legacy services from C to Golang. You will play a key role in developing backend services, with a focus on enhancing performance, scalability, and reliability. Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or CockroachDB, as well as familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP or PCF, will be crucial for success in this role.

We offer competitive compensation, as well as many benefits (see below). The hourly compensation for this role is $60 - $85/hr (we have opportunities for both mid-level and senior Go Engineers).

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Go (Golang) and the ability to read C code.

• A minimum of 4 years of overall experience in backend enterprise-level software development.
• Demonstrated expertise in concurrency patterns, package management, and the standard library in Go.
• Strong experience with database design and development, preferably with PostgreSQL or CockroachDB.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, especially GCP or PCF, and their service offerings.
• Proficient in network programming, understanding security best practices and secure coding techniques in Golang.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strong team player who can also work independently.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
• Self-motivated with a passion for taking on new challenges.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
